About This Event
Europe's largest and oldest traditional gathering of Gypsies and Travellers, held annually in Appleby-in-Westmorland. Horse trading, washing horses in the River Eden, thousands of caravans and horse-drawn vehicles. Attracts around 30,000 visitors. Just 40 minutes from Barnard Castle over the Pennines.
